What is 112 MDT?
112 MDT is the MDT focused on emergency services. We collaborate with the Police, Fire Department, Ambulance Service, and Defense Department. These professionals possess skills that are also relevant to young people, such as managing stress, making good choices, and setting (realistic) goals. We don't offer boring slides or dull information, but genuine, in-depth conversations about the ins and outs of their work and how these lessons can also be relevant to your life. And of course, we visit their workplaces and take action to help them improve society.
What does the program look like?
112 MDT consists of three parts. First, we'll get to know each other at a climbing gym or other sports venue. Then, you'll delve into the world of emergency services. You'll talk to real experts and discover what they do every day. But the best part is yet to come: in part three, you'll give something back. You'll choose an Action. This could include creating a cool anti-hacking campaign, filming a police story, or raising money for the Wish Ambulance. Together with your trainers and the professionals you've met, you'll choose the Action that best suits your needs.
Why would you choose 112 MDT?
Even if you have no plans to work for an emergency service, 112 MDT offers an unforgettable experience. You learn how to stay calm in a stressful situation and not be influenced by peer pressure by learning powerful stories from real people, but also many valuable lessons, combined with action! That's what 112 MDT has in store for you.
